Little Black Box Collective is an architecture practice based in Dublin, co-founded by Ami and Jonathan Black an Irish / Scottish duo.
We met in Glasgow, worked in London, travelled for a bit and finally settled in Dublin to work on projects on both sides of the Irish Sea.
We’re architects because we love design, it’s what motivates us to get up in the morning.
What we do
We have over 15 years combined experience working on projects in the UK including art galleries, community centres, nurseries, charity office headquarters, student housing and residential buildings. Before we set up LBBC these projects received awards for exceptional design including separate nominations for the prestigious 2018 RIBA Stirling Prize for Architecture – just ask us and we’ll show you.
We’re best at creating beautiful contemporary spaces that enhance existing buildings and reduce their environmental impact.
We are socially driven designers - we love working on projects that have a positive social or community impact.
